The Pet Pal was established in Beaufort in 1996. Owned by Alecia Williams, the service has provided professional in -home pet care for cats, dogs, birds and a variety of other pets. Many owners feel that keeping a pet in it's own familiar environment may be less stressful for the animal, especially if he is older or requires special attention. (Or a cat!).
Dog owners now have an alternative and may bring their dog to Dove Landing Kennels in Merritt. The same great care is provided here as would be given in your home.
Alecia is also a Certified Canine Massage Therapist and a Certified Dog Trainer. Training and / or massage sessions may be scheduled while your dog stays at Dove Landing!
In 2002, The Pet Pal was nominated (by clients), and selected as one of the top 5 national finalists for the annual Pet Sitter of the Year award given by Pet Sitters International.
